About Glamour Push
Glamour Push is a special promotion that encourages more women and novice riders in Western Australia to participate in the Bike to Work Challenge and to cycle in style for short trips.This campaign is a collaborative project between the Department of Transport and BOQ Corporate Challenge (visit website below).
In Perth, a 5–12 km cycling trip takes a pleasant 20–45 min. That's a very leisurely 4 min per km (or 15–20km/h).
Find any opportunities to cycle, and you can build up your endurance in about 6 weeks. Such opportunities include:
- Picking up groceries
- Going to work or university
- Catching up with friends.
