About Glamour Push

Glamour Push is a special promotion that encourages more women and novice riders in Western Australia to participate in the Bike to Work Challenge and to cycle in style for short trips.

This campaign is a collaborative project between the Department of Transport and BOQ Corporate Challenge (visit website below).

In Perth, a 5–12 km cycling trip takes a pleasant 20–45 min. That's a very leisurely 4 min per km (or 15–20km/h).

Find any opportunities to cycle, and you can build up your endurance in about 6 weeks. Such opportunities include:

  • Picking up groceries
  • Going to work or university
  • Catching up with friends.
