The 17th annual Cycle to School Day was held on Wednesday 23 March 2011.

This popular event was part of the annual Cycle Instead Bikeweek held 19-27 March 2011. It once again promoted active transport in primary and secondary schools, helping participating students to meet the recommended physical activity levels for children (60 minutes per day) as well as raise bike safety awareness amongst students, their parents and staff.
