Replacement of K and L jetties at Hillarys Boat Harbour

Work to replace the K and L jetties at Hillarys Boat Harbour is complete.

The project was part of the Department's ongoing pen replacement program for the Harbour and K and L jetties were the next pen system scheduled to be replaced. The replacement of the pen system improves safety and amenities for penholders and reduces ongoing maintenance costs.

The existing K and L jetties were replaced with a secure floating pen system that meets high design standards. The new systems saw the delivery of 107 pens and can accommodate vessels up to 15 metres.

The $3.5 million project was undertaken by Engineered Water System and was completed in August 2014.
