Shuttle service licence

A shuttle provides a regular service with either:

  • a pre-defined origin or destination (operators may nominate a number of points);

They may also undertake the reverse trip.

What criteria needs to be met to gain a shuttle service licence?

    Please note that picking up and dropping off passengers outside of the pre-defined locations or areas is prohibited.

  • Individual and pre-advertised fares must be charged and

  • Vehicles shall not operate from taxi ranks or be used to ply for hire or tout on roads or other public places
