Bikeweek is for everyone

Cycle Instead Bikeweek is an annual celebration of cycling that occurs every year across Western Australia in March and is coordinated by the Department of Transport’s Bikewest unit.

Bikeweek has remained popular and relevant for over 30 years due to the growing number of Western Australians who ride their bikes for both long and short trips, such as commuting to work or study, the local train station, shops and cafes or visiting friends. Cycling is an important part of the State’s transport landscape as it provides a fast and convenient way of travelling which is suitable for people of all ages, skill levels and abilities.
