Perth bicycle network

The Perth Bicycle Network (PBN) is an identified network of cycling routes across the metropolitan area. Coordinated by the Department of Transport. Main Roads WA and the Public Transport Authority deliver the Principal Shared Path component, but the majority of the routes, along with the development of local network plans are delivered by local government authorities with funding assistance through the State Government's PBN Local Government Grants Program.

2012-13 Grants program

Grant applications for the 2012-13 PBN Local Government Grants program closed on 9 December 2011 and are currently being assessed.

2011-12 Grants program

17 metropolitan local government authorities were successful in securing grant funding for 28 projects through the 2011-12 Grants program. 15km of cycling infrastructure is being added to the network  as a result of the $1million of State Government funding. Project details can be downloaded below.
