This compact disk (CD), for use on personal computers, contains raster (ECW and TIFF) and PDF (Adobe Acrobat) formats of the Department's Nautical Charts, covering Perth local waters from Lancelin to Dawesville.

The charts on the CD are not geo-referenced, however the images contain Latitude and Longitude values relating to the Geocentric Datum of Australia (GDA94).

• Chart Scales range from 1:25,000 to 1:50,000 with individual insets supplied at larger scales.
• File sizes range from 1 to 15 Megabytes.

The chart images supplied on this CD are not intended for navigational use. The CD and official paper charts are available from the Department and it's approved chart agents.

These images are suitable for use as background images for computer and GPS Mapping.
