Can you handle the challenge?

The Online Corporate Walking Challenge is held every year by the Department of Transport. The challenge is free and encourages participants from WA workplaces to increase their daily walking and replace some of the 90 million private car trips of less than one kilometre each year. | ||

Corporate workers gather in teams of 4 in this exciting state-wide challenge. The Department of Transport's Online Corporate Walking Challenge was a huge success yet again, with over 1,832 participants from 432 teams. Participants are able to track their daily step count online and compare them with their team members and friends from other organisations. |

Benefits of the Online Corporate Walking Challenge
The Challenge benefits all participants by:- Encouraging people to replace short car trips with a walk;
- Positively increasing physical activity levels of staff leading to increased productivity;
- Improving office social interaction and teamwork skills; and
- Fostering a friendly sense of competition and fun.
