Active Travel Officers making a positive impact

In March, our grant supported Active Travel Officer (ATO), Fred Block, developed and delivered an event that saw more than 150 women hop on their bikes and participate in the Women on Wheels event in Geraldton.

Kalbarri dredging

Dredging required at Kalbarri as channel size more than halves

The Department of Transport (DoT) has commenced biennial maintenance dredging at the mouth of the Murchison River in Kalbarri after recent confirmation the channel width had more than halved in the past year.

The Railway Street Safe Active Street (SAS) in Bluff Point Geraldton has been recognised at the recent Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) Awards – WA Division, taking out two Excellence Awards.
