The four key aims of the Driving Access and Equity Program (DAEP)

DAEP works to ensure appropriately licensed vehicles are accessible to learner drivers.
Increase access to licensed driving supervisors and instructors.
Help people overcome issues and costs to get a license.
Increase access to Transport WA services.

About the program

DAEP provides support to disadvantaged people in WA to overcome the barriers they may face to get a driver’s licence.

Grant funding

Grants are available to organisations that improve access to driving services, instructors and vehicles.

Remote and mobile services

We are working to improve service delivery for remote communities and regional WA.

Partnerships

Piloting delivering community services in partnership to streamline community outreach.

Projects

Find out about projects we are running to help improve service delivery across WA.

Resources

DAEP are developing a bespoke library of resources to assist people where English is not their first language, or literacy is a barrier to obtaining their driver’s licence.
