Passenger Transport Subsidy Scheme (PTSS)
The Passenger Transport Subsidy Scheme (PTSS) is a subsidy available to eligible people with disability travelling in on-demand rank or hail (taxi) vehicles. PTSS participants can receive up to 75% off eligible taxi fares.
PTSS helps people in Western Australia to safely and easily get where they need to go. When everyone can use transport, they can join in school, work, and fun activities with others. PTSS is part of the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure’s (DTMI’s) work to make travel better for all people.
TUSS vouchers have ended
From 1 October 2025, WA TUSS vouchers can no longer be used to access subsidised travel in taxis.
Drivers must accept PTSS cards.
