The Freight and Logistics Council of Western Australia (FLCWA) is a ministerially appointed group that contributes towards a shared vision of an efficient and sustainable multi-modal freight and logistics system for WA.
The focus of the FLCWA is to:
- Promote the common interests of people engaged in, or interested in, freight and logistics activities within WA or impacting on WA.
- Offer strategic advice to transport ministers and others in government on freight and logistics matters raised by industry.
- Provide a forum for exchanging views between industry and government on strategic matters impacting the efficiency of freight and logistics within or impacting on WA.
- Identify opportunities for successful freight and logistics activities in WA, the constraints to achieving success and ways to overcome them.
- Promote the importance of freight and logistics activities to government, industry and the community.
- Represent a WA view of freight and logistics policy matters in national decision-making forums.
