Expressions of interest are open for local bike planning grants, offered as part of DTMI’s Western Australian Bicycle Network Grants Program.

This funding opportunity is designed to assist local governments, including Regional Councils, across the State to develop and implement bike plans to help strengthen the Western Australia’s active transport network.

These non-infrastructure grants provide lump sum funding of $15,000 or $25,000.

Expressions of interest are open year-round, with two dedicated assessment periods per year.

Applications can be made through the Western Australian Bicycle Network Grants Program webpage.

Submissions received by Friday 24 April 2026 will be considered in the upcoming assessment round.
