CircleZero hub to showcase Portfolio sustainability focus

The Transport and Major Infrastructure Portfolio has launched CircleZero - a WA-first digital sustainability knowledge hub.

CircleZero will share knowledge, research and experience across the Portfolio’s government and industry partners in pursuit of a circular economy and net zero transport and infrastructure.

With the Portfolio committed to meeting the State Government target of 80 per cent reduction in emissions by 2030, and net zero by 2050 across infrastructure and transport, CircleZero represents a great opportunity for collaboration with industry partners to share information, resources, and learnings to meet these long-term goals.

The hub is a public resource for staff, industry partners, contractors, consultants and suppliers, other State government agencies and local government, providing a one-stop-shop for transport sustainability including: case studies, suppliers map, material guides, research, and training webinars.

CircleZero is a valuable tool to support the implementation of the Portfolio Sustainable Infrastructure Policy endorsed by the Portfolio Governance Council in December 2024. The Policy commits the Portfolio to strengthening sustainable resource use and the decarbonisation of life cycle impacts from energy, water and materials across transport and infrastructure assets.

It also supports all three pillars of the Portfolio Environment, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) Framework in particular progress towards emissions reduction and sustainable resource use, transparent and responsible engagement, and research and innovation.

Visit CircleZero to explore the hub and register for updates.
