From 1 July 2026, all eligible Western Australian driver’s licence holders can apply for the Fuel Support Payment.

The State Government has announced the one-off $100 payment as a cost-of-living measure in the 2026-27 State Budget to assist Western Australian drivers with fuel costs and other financial pressures.

All WA driver's licence, learner's permit, provisional and extraordinary licence holders can apply. People with a cancelled, suspended or expired WA driver's licence are not eligible to apply.

You can claim the Fuel Support Payment on the ServiceWA app from 1 July 2026. Visit the ServiceWA app: Support hub for help to set up your ServiceWA app ahead of time.

Alternative claim options will also be available for people who are unable or do not wish to use the app with information provided soon.

More information about the Fuel Support Payment will be provided closer to the 1 July 2026 launch date.
