The Department of Transport (DoT) will trial extended weekday trading hours as we continue to identify customer service delivery improvements.

For 8 weeks from 30 June to 29 August 2025, Cannington, City West and Mirrabooka Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) centres will open for an additional two hours.

You can visit these three centres only between 7.15am and 5.30pm weekdays for access all DoT services at a more convenient time, before or after work and school.

All our other full service metro DVS centres (Butler, Mandurah, Midland Rockingham and Success) will open for usual trading hours between 8.15am and 4.30pm during the extended weekday trading hours trial.

Once the trial has concluded, DoT will evaluate staff and customer sentiment and feedback to measure the success of extended weekday trading.

Customers also have the convenience of accessing many DoT payments and transactions on DoTDirect and our online services anywhere, anytime.

Online services include paying driver’s and vehicle licence renewals, vehicle transfers, change of address, PDA bookings, custom plate purchases and more.
