After 26 years of waiting, Joseph finally held something he’d been dreaming of having back, his driver’s licence.
Hailing from Carnot Bay on the Dampier Peninsula, Joseph journeyed approximately 50 km to Beagle Bay, where he met with the Kimberley Remote Services team, driven by a singular goal: “He wanted a licence!”
With determination and focus, Joseph passed both his theory and practical driving assessments. The moment was emotional and well earned.
“No more waiting to be picked up, no more asking people for a lift,” Joseph shared.
“Maybe me getting licence after so long can act as an inspiration to others.”
