Land leased at a Department of Transport managed coastal facility may be used for harbour purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Fishing industry and related activities.
  • Retail.
  • Hospitality and tourism.
  • Marine support services.
  • Community groups.
  • Registered clubs, including yachting and sailing clubs.

When applying for a lease you may be asked to provide:

  • Details of relevant skills and experience in the business or operation proposed.
  • Evidence of capacity to satisfy financial obligations of the lease.

If developing vacant land, please submit a development concept, including:

  • Preliminary layout plan outlining the intended uses of the land.
  • Buildings and improvements proposed.
  • Other relevant information.

Note:

Leased properties may not be used for residential purposes.

Carnarvon

Jurien Boat Harbour
