Geraldton Batavia Coast Marina boat pens
The Department of Transport (DoT) is developing plans to build an additional set of boat pens (Jetty C) in the Batavia Coast Marina.
The new pens will help meet a growing demand and provide a short stay berth for larger tour / commercial vessels to 25 metres in length.

Project background
DoT is undertaking the project to provide additional boat pens in Geraldton as well as an additional facility for commercial tour and charter operations, including to the Houtman Abrolhos Islands.

Project status
The project is in the planning and approvals phase during 2023 with works anticipated to commence during 2024.
Consultation
The project will undergo stakeholder consultation during 2023 and is currently being assessed against a range of regulatory processes including planning, environmental and heritage.
